Dr Joel Collins

Dr Collins started the iron infusion clinic in 2019 in Toowoomba. He is passionate about iron deficiency. He has a special interest in iron deficiency in women, pregnancy and children.

Dr Joel Collins is a consultant Clinical Haematologist (Physician). A Clinical Haematologist is a specialist in blood disorders such as blood cancer, abnormal blood counts, bleeding disorders, clotting disorders and other issues including iron and other vitamin deficiencies.

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Griffith University in Queensland. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, having completed his advanced training between the two major Queensland tertiary hospitals – the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
