Referral Required for Specialist Appointments

To see one of our consultant haematologists for an iron infusion consult, you must have a valid referral from your GP or specialist. This ensures Medicare eligibility and that your appointment is triaged appropriately.

No Referral? Book Our Iron Deficiency Screening Clinic

If you don’t have a referral, simply book an initial telephone review with our Nurse Practitioner-led Iron Deficiency Screening Clinic. Our team can assess your need for iron and organise investigations or referrals as required. This clinic is delivered via telehealth.

This service also supports patients with known iron deficiency or symptoms suggestive of low iron levels, who may struggle to obtain a formal diagnosis or access timely IV iron treatment. Our clinic helps bridge the gap with fast, expert-led assessment and care.
