• Brisbane West (Sinnamon Park)

  Your Iron Prescription
  Your iron script will be sent directly to Priceline Pharmacy (ground floor) at the medical centre. Please collect your iron from Priceline on your way to your appointment.
  Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

  If your infusion is scheduled before 8:00am, Priceline will contact you the day prior to arrange payment over the phone and will deliver the iron to the medical practice for you.

  Important – Pregnancy
  Iron infusions can only be performed from 12 weeks’ gestation onwards. If you are earlier than 12 weeks pregnant, please contact us so we can delay your appointment appropriately.

  What to Expect
  Your visit typically takes around 60 minutes. Your visit starts with a thorough consult with one of our iron experts. From there, you’ll meet our amazing nursing team, where a small IV cannula will be inserted and the iron administered under supervision. The infusion takes about 15-20 minutes for adults, and as little as 5 minutes for children.

  Most patients tolerate the infusion well and can resume normal activities afterwards.

  An eScript token will be sent to your phone.  You may take this to your prefered pharmacy.

  For convenience, Slade Pharmacy is onsite at St Andrew’s Toowoomba (Building 5, Holberton Street entrance).
  They are open 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

  Please ensure your iron is collected prior to your appointment.
